The annual Junior Scientist Partnership awards program encourages collaboration between Graduate Medical Education (GME) clinical fellows and post‐doctoral research fellows. Participating fellows gain a greater understanding of the challenges and possibilities of research while participating scientists gain a greater understanding of the application of their work within the clinical setting. Ultimately, patient care is improved when scientists and physicians are inspired and working together.
